Copper Mountain Shredfest

The Wildcard crew went to Copper Mountain, Colorado to check out the opening week conditions and jib the snowboard park. This video is starring Nick Ennen, Andy Stern, Andy Bergin-Sperry, Joe Bosler, and a couple local girls Christie Charleston and Liz Gulau.
Welcome to Copper Mountain, Colorado!

In early November a few of the Wildcard squad headed out on a mission to hunt and conquer any fresh pow we could find. We didn’t find much pow yet, but the parks were Go-Time. MC Pump, Dave Grigby and the crew at Snowboard Mag helped set us up with a sweet party for the Breckenridge premier of The Saturday Night Ride. They were also our local connection and we decided to check out Copper Mountain, Colorado after we got a heads up that conditions were fun.

The Wildcard crew was ready to board Copper Mountain for the first time this season.
The Copper Catylst park looked really nice from the chairlift and we filmed a couple doubles lines as Jeremy Dubs rode up the chair.

Andy Bergin-Sperry shows us the nub to downbox feature by bumping to backside tailslide.
The girlies at Copper Mt know how to shred the jibs tough, Liz Gulau busted a couple sick moves and got featured in our video. Locals everywhere, we are coming to your hill and you might be featured as well. Watch out for Wildcard.
Christie Charleston noseslid the three box combo with chill steez.

Joe Bosler backside tailpress 270 on his way down through the rail section of the park.

The park guys were all kitted up in all-black 686 gear and were stoked to rake the spot after every few hits. Colorado has some of the best parks we have ever seen and its because of people like this who are dedicated to keeping the features all smooth and dialed. The features at Copper were spread out and very hittable.
The Contour headcam provides a unique perspective for the rider to self-film, and in this case self-photograph their adventures.

Andy Stern was throwing down some new tricks we’d never seen him do. Uniquely built jibs will challenge riders to bust new moves, and Andy had a hayday with the features at Copper, it was a good time. He threw down his second switch bs rodeo of the week and Switch 50-50 bs180ed on the ledge-box. The main obstacle to overcome was the hard landings if you touched down anywhere but your board.
